Sonny DVD edit information:

 

All Sonny edits are approx. 2 hours and contain all scenes with Sonny as well as any other characters listed on the title during that time period.  There may also be a few scenes that either reference them or are important to the story at hand.  The exception to the all scenes rules are edits labelled as "Prequel".  The first two edits in the Sonny & Emily series are labeled as prequels (see note in the Sonny & Emily section).   

 

 

*Note -  The Sonny & Carly edits do not have numbers so use the dates to let me know which edit that you are interested in.  I will add #’s to the edits when I’ve completed them back to the beginning.  Check back for updates on the earlier edits or ask to be put on my Sonny & Carly email list. 

 

Sonny & Carly  – 12/20/2001 – 1/7/2002(partial) - 115 min. - Episodes transferred to DVD from my own original full episode VHS tapes in a mixture of SLP & SP mode then edited – Sonny questions Janine about her relationship with Mike, Zander brings Courtney to Sonny’s door, Courtney reveals that Janine is her mother, Carly and Jax meet with the zoning commissioners over their club, Courtney sees Mike and Sonny is furious to find out Mike never told him about his sister, Jax surprises Carly with their permits, Sonny visits Michael for Christmas and Mike shows up to ask him to look for Courtney, Carly encourages Sonny to hear Mike out, Zander brings Courtney back to the PH, Sonny kicks her parents out into the hall so they can talk, Jax defends Carly to AJ, Sonny takes Alexis to the NYE party at the grill and they bump into Zander and Carly, Courtney shows up and reveals Janine’s blackmail scheme to Edward, Carly becomes suspicious of Zander’s motives for friendship, Alexis convinces Courtney to remain in PC to get to know Sonny, Sonny offers Janine money, Janine is arrested. 

 

Sonny & Carly  –1/7/2002(partial) – 1/21/2002(partial) - 119 min. - Episodes transferred to DVD from my own original full episode VHS tapes in SP mode then edited – Sonny reveals to Taggert that Courtney is his sister in the PCPD, Sonny takes Alexis to the No-Name so as not to worry about Courtney going out on the town with Kristina, Skye, Jax then Roscoe interrupt their evening, Carly sets Zander up on a blind date at Luke’s, she sees a young girl with AJ and gives her some advice, Roscoe hits up Carly for protection, Sonny finds Mike at Alexis’s PH with Courtney, Roscoe has Zander beat up as a message to Carly, Carly goes to Sonny about Roscoe, Sonny confronts Roscoe on the docks after he pulls a knife on Liz who was talking to Zander, Carly shows up and Sonny asks Zander to take her home, Sonny makes an effort to get to know Courtney, Carly runs into them at Kelly’s and Courtney takes off to go shopping, Carly tells Sonny she saw Courtney at Luke’s with AJ, Carly finds them at the park and calls Sonny, Sonny arrives to see AJ working Courtney.

Sonny & Carly  – 4/11/2002 – 4/24/2002(partial) - 120 minutes - Episodes transferred to DVD from my own original full episode VHS tapes in SP mode then edited – Alexis reveals AJ’s whereabouts to Sonny, Zander finds Carly on the pier in tears, Sonny finds AJ in bed with Courtney then proceeds to try to throw him off the balcony, Courtney stops Sonny by telling him that they’re married, Sonny reflects on his mother’s abusive marriage and worries that Courtney will end up the same, AJ offers to return Courtney to Sonny in exchange for Michael, Sonny throws them a wedding reception, Sonny & Alexis return to PC, Sonny tells Mike to take care of Courtney then he makes preparations to off AJ, Alexis realizes and tries to stop him, Sonny stops the hit then challenges Alexis to stay with him or run for the door, Carly gives Zander a pool cue then makes a date with him to play after work, Carly finds Alexis and Sonny in bed together when she brings over a birthday card from Michael, Carly runs out.

 

Sonny & Carly  – 4/24/2002(partial) – 5/9/2002(partial) - 117 minutes - Episodes transferred to DVD from my own original full episode VHS tapes in SP mode then edited – A knock on the PH door by Max interrupts Sonny & Alexis’s pillowtalk, Zander sends Carly away when he realizes that Carly saw Sonny & Alexis in bed before she came to his, Sonny makes Alexis breakfast, Zander interrupts them with the news that a car fitting Carly’s description went over the bluff into the lake, Courtney brings Sonny cannoli for his birthday, Sonny gets a call confirming the car was Carly’s and walks out, Sonny is upset with Zander when he learns that he taught Carly to drive but he, Jax & Zander fall silent when Carly’s car is pulled up empty, Sonny suspects AJ when Michael disappears from Bobbie’s, Courtney asks Sonny about the hit when he stops by to question AJ, Luke finds Michael, Sonny worries about losing Alexis too, Michael says that he saw Carly in Bobbie’s backyard, Sonny & Alexis find the birthday card at the PH, Sonny confronts Zander, Sonny retraces Carly’s steps, Sonny & Alexis catch up at the accident site.

Sonny & Carly – 7/28/2003(partial)-8/8/2003 – 112 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Carly/Lorenzo play backgammon and Jason & Scott show up at the house in MV, Lorenzo tells Carly about Sophie, Faith and Scott join Sonny in a sting on Lorenzo, Lorenzo lets Sonny visit Carly again then moves her but has to make an emergency landing to take her to a clinic when she goes into premature labor, Carly is rescued by Jason, Sonny & Ric.

 

Sonny & Carly – 8/11/2003-8/26/2003(partial) – 118 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Sonny and Carly return home, Lo has Carly followed, Carly gives Mac her statement on being held by Ric, Carly stops Sonny from killing Ric, Courtney reveals her miscarriage, Lorenzo catches Carly on the docks then sends her flowers, Scott informs Carly and Sonny he is dropping the charges against Ric.

Sonny & Carly – 9/15/2003 – 9/29/2003(partial) – 118 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Lorenzo saves Carly from falling off the cliff after she pushes Courtney’s car over then takes her to his apartment to clean up, Sonny shows up looking for her and she hides, Carly tells Sonny everything, Sonny finds out Lily’s grave has been desecrated and Carly is hospitalized, Sonny sees “Lily” on the balcony, Sonny continues to be haunted by “Lily”, Carly interrupts Capelli’s hit on Nik, Carly saves Lorenzo after Stefan tries to kill him.

 

Sonny & Carly – 9/29/2003(partial)- 10/14/2003(partial) – 118 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Carly tells Sonny that she saved Lorenzo’s life, Sonny tells Carly about seeing Lily’s ghost, Michael sees her as well, “Lily” tells Sonny there’s something wrong with the baby’s heart, Courtney and Bobbie throw Sonny & Carly a baby shower, Sonny tells Carly he’s leaving and moves to the PC Hotel, Sonny & Carly fly to France to see Courtney & Jason’s wedding, Carly joins Sonny on the flight home but Lorenzo has sabotaged the plane, Carly and Sonny call Courtney and Jason to say goodbye.

 

Sonny & Carly – 10/14/2003(partial) – 10/27/2003(partial) – 119 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Carly and Sonny continue their call to Journey then call Michael, they survive the flight and Sonny leaves Carly at the airport and moves in with the newlyweds, Carly tries to use Lorenzo to make Sonny jealous, they fight and she goes to the new house, falls down the stairs and goes into labor, Courtney finds her but has an accident before she can get her help, Lorenzo finds her and coaches her through labor before Sonny bursts in and shoots him, the bullet goes into Carly’s head, Jason and Sonny take Carly and the baby to the hospital.

 

Sonny & Carly – 10/27/2003(partial) – 11/6/2003 – 116 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Sonny learns that Carly is in a coma, Ric arrests Sonny for attempted murder, while in her coma Carly begins to dream her life over only this time she meets Lorenzo and falls in love, Sonny & Lorenzo sit by Carly’s side and try to get her to come around, Sonny confronts Faith at the Halloween ball after she takes out the five families, Sonny gives up the business to Jason, Sonny lets Courtney take the boys out of state, Tony tells Sonny that Carly’s brain activities increase whenever Lo is around.

 

Sonny & Carly – 11/7/2003 – 11/24/2003(partial) - 119 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Carly opens her eyes, Sonny refuses to sign the papers to send Carly to a long-term care facility, Carly awakens in Lorenzo’s presence, Sonny explains what happened to Carly, Carly realizes she has lost her feelings for her family but not her memories and has retained her feelings for Lorenzo, Carly leaves the hospital on her own, sneaks into the PH then leaves to go and see Lorenzo.

 

Sonny & Carly – 11/24/2003 (partial) – 12/10/03(partial) - 117 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Carly confronts Marcella at Lo’s apartments, Sonny takes Carly and their family to the island to reconnect, Carly tells Sonny about the coma dreams and he takes off to go after Lorenzo, Sonny shoots Lorenzo who is wearing a bullet-proof vest, Sonny takes Sam hostage, Sonny is shot by Brian and ends up in the hospital, Carly sneaks Sonny out of the hospital and takes him to France, Lo follows them and Journey bring the kids to them.

 

Sonny & Carly – 12/10/03(partial) – 12/26/03(partial) - 119 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Sonny’s trial begins in PC as Sonny shares precious moment with his infant son, Sonny returns to PC to stand trial, Sonny’s trial, Carly collapses then remembers her love for Sonny, Mikey notices, Lo walks in on S&C after they’ve just made love in the PH, Morgan’s christening, Faith hijacks the toy shipment for the church and holds Jason hostage, a happy Christmas with the Corinthos’s, preparations for the opening of the Haunted Star.

 

Sonny & Carly – 12/26/03(partial) – 1/13/2004 – 119 min. from my original DVD full episodes – The Haunted Star is held up and Carly is grabbed and kissed by a masked man, Carly experiences an erotic flash and pulls Sonny into a serious session of lovemaking, Sonny leaves on a business trip and picks up a stowaway on his plane in Sam, they become stranded on Azure key in Sam’s quest to look for the treasure during a hurricane and Sam is stung by a scorpion, Carly continues to have flashes, this time about Lorenzo, Jason observes Carly and Lorenzo in the park then confronts Carly, Carly visits Lorenzo in the panic room where Jason has left him, lies to then argues with Jason about being there, Jason moves Lorenzo and Carly goes to the panic room then collapses in Jason’s arms asking for help.

 

Sonny & Carly – 1/14/2004 – 1/26/2004(partial) - 117 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Frustrated over more encounters and flashes with Lorenzo, Carly checks herself into Shadybrook where she is drugged and Faith tries to brainwash her, Sonny still stranded on island with Jax and Sam now with pirates, Lorenzo escapes from the safehouse and rescues Carly from Shadybrook, Jax is shot and Sonny removes the bullet, Jason comes after Carly but leaves her with Lorenzo, Carly goes home and tells Sonny on the phone to come straight home from the airport then she returns to Lorenzo’s lakehouse to say goodbye, Jason tells Sonny where she is, Sonny finds Carly and Lorenzo in a kiss, Sonny says he is done, Sonny runs into Sam on the docks and they go to a hotel, Carly sings Morgan a lullaby, Carly gives Courtney an alibi for the shooting of Brian, Jason finds Sonny with Sam.

 

Sonny & Carly - 1/26/2004(partial) – 2/6/2004 - 116 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Carly finds Sonny with Sam and runs to Alcazar, montage as both couples have sex, Sonny slams the door in Carly face when she shows up to get the kids, Carly confronts Sam in the hotel elevator about her resemblance to Brenda, Carly lures Jason out of the PH so Alcazar can get the kids for her, Michael sneaks out with Morgan to see their mother, Sonny gets a restraining order against Carly, Sonny has Carly arrested for violating the restraining order, Ric gets Carly released, Carly presents Sonny with a temporary custody order, Carly and Alexis get stuck in the hotel elevator, Sonny and Alcazar fight in the stairwell, the beginning of the fire.

 

Sonny & Carly - 2/9/2004 – 2/20/2004 - 116 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Alexis confesses that Sonny is Kristina’s father, Sonny saves Alcazar’s life then Alcazar saves Sonny’s life, Carly and Alexis escape from the elevator, Jason and Carly get trapped in a hotel room, Jason has a “firefighter” take Carly to safety then finds Courtney and Sonny in a stairwell, they all make their way to the Versailles Room, Luke comes up with a plan for a lottery system to decide who gets rescued first, Sonny and Carly fall through the floor, Alcazar pulls them out, Sonny hotwires an elevator to get them out of the building, Michael is worried about Carly and Sonny asks her to visit, Carly agrees to move into Alcazar’s lakehouse, Carly takes Lucky with her to the PH to get the kids but Sonny stalls, Sam tells Carly Sonny won’t be bringing the kids, airport scene, Carly blackmails Alexis to be her new attorney.

Sonny & Carly –12/8/2004 – 12/23/2004(partial) - 119 minutes from my original DVD full episodes – Sonny runs into Steven at Carly’s, Carly & Steven go out on a date, Steven is called into GH when Nik is shot, Alexis tries to run with Kristina, Ric convinces Sonny to give him time to bring her back, Sonny tells the court that he wants to share custody, Alexis reluctantly agrees, Steven takes Carly and the kids to pick out a Christmas tree, Sonny calls and wants the kids, Carly brings them over then Alexis & Ric bring over Kristina, Jordan drops by to make sure the custody exchange went smoothly then gets stuck at the PH for the duration of the blizzard and enjoys the holiday festivities, Carly & Steven get tipsy and try to assemble a wagon, John shows up, Carly’s roof caves in under the weight of the snow and her lung is punctured, Steven performs emergency surgery, John goes for help.

Note - The first two edits are labeled as prequels.  I hate telling partial stories and leaving scenes out but in this case I went ahead and made 2 edits that DO NOT CONTAIN all scenes for the characters.  The first 2 edits contain the story of how Emily bonded with Michael through their therapy issues and how her support of him drew her closer to Sonny.  These edits contain all of Emily’s scenes with Michael and all of Emily’s scenes with Sonny.  They DO NOT CONTAIN all of her scenes with other characters such as Nikolas unless their discussion is about Sonny.  Starting with Edit #3 the edits will contain the whole story and begins the day after Reese dies (11/16/2005) picking up with the next scene after the end of Sonny & Reese #17.

Sonny & Emily #10 – 3/21/2006(partial) – 4/6/2006(partial) - 119 minutes from my original DVD full episodes –  Sonny runs into Jason after his confession, Sonny & Emily attend the reopening of the Haunted Star separately, they both leaves after a scene between Sam & Alexis, a suspicious Jason goes over to Sonny’s and finds them together, Ric tells Sonny that Jason attacked him, Lorenzo tells Sonny that he told Jason he wanted a truce, Emily admits to Liz that she & Sonny are involved, Sonny becomes angry with Jason for speaking for him with Alcazar, Lorenzo accuses Jason & Sonny for gunning after his son, Sonny & Emily plan a rendezvous at a hotel, Jason shoots an assassin in their room, the ensuing scandal is all over the media, Jason is arrested, the police interrogate Emily, Sonny asks Nikolas to escort her home, Nikolas assists Emily handle the Q’s, Sonny & Carly do damage control with the boys, Emily visits Jason at the PCPD, Ric takes Sonny’s side, Carly asks Emily to break things off with Sonny.

 

Sonny & Emily #11 – 4/6/2006(partial) – 4/25/2006 - 122 minutes from my original DVD full episodes –  Sonny & Emily stand up to the Q’s, Carly sets Emily up with Nikolas at the cabin, Sonny & Jason begin to argue but they are interrupted by the news that Manny has taken Liz hostage, Emily worries about the rift between Sonny & Jason, Emily convinces Sonny to go to the island with her, Sonny returns from their trip to find that Jason has taken over his business, Jason tells Sonny that he can have his business back if he gives up Emily, Emily breaks up a fight between Sonny & Jason, Sonny & Emily resolve to stay together, Michael & Morgan throw Sonny a surprise birthday party, Sonny tries to reason with the families but Jason takes out an Escobar, Emily takes this as a good sign but Sonny is angry to find out that he is now under Jason’s protection, Sonny warns Sam that Jason needs to back down.

 

Sonny & Emily #12 – 4/26/2006 – 5/10/2006 - 125 minutes from my original DVD full episodes –  Ric convinces Sonny to turn Jason in for Escobar’s shooting, Carly is shocked to learn this news from Sam, Sonny explains his position to Emily, Emily decides to leave, Sonny puts a hit on Jason in motion, Carly’s “bachelor” auction, Sam is shot, Jason tells Emily that he’s coming after Sonny, Sonny calls off the hit, Emily’s shocked to find out that Sonny had a hit on Jason, Sonny hears from his assassin that he did not take a shot, Sonny asks Emily to stay with the children while he confronts Jason, Carly takes the kids, Sonny tells Jason that he is not responsible, Sonny is surprised that Emily waited for him, Emily forgives Sonny and stays with him, Ric urges Sonny to take back his territory while Jason is distracted by Sam, Jason holds Ric at gunpoint, Sonny tells Ric that Sam is Alexis’s daughter, Sonny wants to reach out to Jason, he gives blood to help Sam.

 

Sonny & Emily #13 – 5/11/2006 – 6/2/2006(partial) - 120 minutes from my original DVD full episodes –  Sonny gives Emily a ton of roses then fixes her dinner, Sonny tells Jason to follow his instincts, Sonny buys a Maserati and takes Emily for a spin, Emily is surprised by his spontaneity, Sonny wants to take Ric & Emily to Vegas, Sonny thanks Jason for taking away the business, Mike & Sonny bond, Sonny throws over the table because the pasta sauce isn’t perfect, Emily discusses Sonny’s mood swings with Lainey, Emily tells Sonny that she thinks that he’s bipolar, Sonny insists that his problems were caused by his childhood, Emily tries to talk to Jason for Sam, a sniper fires a shot at Jason’s PH, Sonny attacks Escobar for the shooting, Jason takes him home, Sonny threatens Alexis, Max prevents Sonny from swinging a wine bottle at Nikolas, Sonny tells Jason that he wants to expand the coffee warehouse, Sam bursts in.

Sonny & Emily #15 – 6/21/2006(partial) – 7/7/2006 - 127 minutes from my original DVD full episodes –  Sonny attacks Nikolas when he finds him with Emily on the Haunted Star, Emily convinces Nikolas not to press charges, Edward confronts Sonny over Justus’s death, Ric encourages Sonny to talk about Lily, Sonny goes to Jake’s to get Emily, Sonny thinks that his car exploded, Ric takes him home, Sonny pulls a gun on Ric, Emily tells Liz that she thinks that Sonny is bipolar, Emily finds Sonny attacking Ric, Max takes Ric out, Emily refuses to go, Sam is kidnapped by Manny, Sonny asks Jason for help, Jason asks Carly to stay with Sonny and arranges for Emily to go away,  Jason is shot, Sonny believes that Jason is dead, he confronts Alcazar, Carly talks him down, Carly leaves Sonny with Max to check on Jason, Sonny questions Max about his feeling for Carly then becomes accusatory towards Carly, Jason stops him.

 

Sonny & Emily #16 – 7/10/2006 – 7/21/2006 - 108 minutes from my original DVD full episodes –  Jason insists that Sonny get help, Sonny believes that he doesn’t deserve Jason & Carly’s loyalty, Jason admits that he was wrong to keep Sonny & Emily apart,  Carly tries to chase Ric out with a poker, Sonny tells Ric that Carly & Jason can take care of him now, Emily returns from the island, Emily encourages Sonny to seek professional help, Sonny asks Jason to run the business until he is better, Emily escorts Sonny to GH for his first therapy session, Emily attends Lucky’s award ceremony, Lainey questions Sonny about his relationship with Carly, Sonny discusses his session with Emily, Sonny shares his fears of therapy and medication with Jason, Emily walks in, Sonny and Emily go for a walk in the garden, Emily walks in on Carly taking the torn dress, Carly explains that Ric is responsible for the dress incident, Emily asks Carly to leave as Sonny should be focusing on getting better, Carly brings the boys by for Sonny to explain his illness. 

 

Sonny & Emily #17 – 7/24/2006 – 8/1/2006 - 94 minutes from my original DVD full episodes –  Lainey diagnoses Sonny with bipolar disorder, Ric tries to explain his actions to Sonny, Sonny tells Ric to get out, Sonny wavers about taking his medication, Emily worries when he calls Jason, Sonny tells Jason about his fears then takes the medication, Sonny’s next session with Lainey does not go well when she brings up his mother, Lainey wants to up his dosage, Sonny gets angry when Emily doesn’t disagree with Lainey’s assessment of Adella, Carly walks in, Emily tells Sonny off, Carly agrees with Emily, Sonny takes his medication after a talk with Carly, Emily runs into a strung out Lucky on the docks, Emily returns to Sonny’s, Sonny tells Emily that he thinks that he should continue with his recovery but he needs to do it alone, Emily accepts Sonny’s decision to end their relationship, Emily moves back into the Quartermaine’s, Emily asks Carly to make sure that Sonny follows up with his recovery.

I have discontinued the Sonny series for the time being.  If I receive enough interest in the future then I may start it up again, but for now I need a break.
