Sam DVD edit information:   All Sam edits are approx. 2 hours and contain all scenes with Sam and any other character listed on the title during the time period listed, as well as a few scenes that either reference them or are important to story at hand.  Brief descriptions follow

Jax & Sam #1  – 9/30/2003 – 10/24/2003 - 119 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Jax learns that his father has taken ill due to the loss of all but one card of the Dead Man’s Hand, he travels to Galveston in search of the cards where he encounters Sam, she steals the card Jax has, Jax goes after her on her salvage boat and they have to jump ship when they set it afire and end up stranded on an island, Sam flees the island after they are set upon by “thieves” and leaves Jax, Sam poses as a maid at Jax’s hotel in PC, Sam moves in with Jax, AJ catches Sam in the Q mansion and Jax tells him that she’s his girlfriend then proceeds to teach her how to act like a lady, the cards change hands all around, Dillon ends up with most of the cards.   Jax & Sam #2  – 10/27/2003 –  11/18/2003 - 119 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Sam drugs Jax and steals 2 of the cards, Jax offers Dillon $3 Mil for his cards, Sam tricks Georgie by dressing up like a tutor to steal Dillon’s cards, Luke steals the cards from Sam and tries to auction them off but Sam’s ex, the astronaut, makes off with the cards after gassing the place then offers them to Sam in return for one night with her, Jax stops Sam from sleeping with Chase, Dillon steals the cards from Chase and gives them to Jax who takes them and rents a car to get to his dad, Sam stows away with him and sabotages the car and they are stranded in the desert, Jax wins a yacht, gives it to Sam and they make love, Jax’s father dies just as he arrives with the cards, Jax blames Sam for his father’s death and walks out, Tracy steals the cards.   Jax & Sam #3  – 11/18/2003 – 12/11/2003 - 118 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Sam’s boat is delivered and it turns out to be The Haunted Star, Jax plans to get revenge on Sam by making her fall in love with him and Sam thinks that she can romance him out of the cards for Luke, Sam and Jax argue and Sam gives the cards to a homeless man (Luke in disguise), Sonny takes Sam hostage, Sonny releases Sam and she runs into a relieved Jax’s arms, Sam refuses to press charges against Sonny and she and Jax argue, Sam plans to leave town but Jax comes to the airport and “tells” her to stay, Sam is arrested for aiding Sonny, to Jax’s dismay Sam still continues to refuse to press charges but Sonny confesses, Jax tries to make over Sam into an employee in his company, Sam breaks out of the confining offices and steals a boat, Jax joins Sam on her boat ride, Sam testifies at Sonny’s trial then argues with Jax outside the courtroom, She goes to Nikolas with a business proposal.   Jax & Sam #4  – 12/11/2003 – 1/19/2004(partial) – 118 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Sam strikes a deal with Nik to salvage his freighter, Sam finds another ship below the freighter named the Courage with evidence of treasure, Sam’s father Cody comes to town and tries to edge in on her find, Tracy and Sam make a deal for getting the treasure away from Nik, Cody blows up the wreckage and Sam almost drowns, Jax breaks things off with Sam b/c she lied about the treasure, Sam steals the treasure from Cody and makes a run for it, hitching a ride on Sonny’s plane, Jax gambles with Skye, Sonny & Sam end up stranded in a hurricane on Azure Key, Jax comes to tell Sam that her father is dead, Sam goes in search of the treasure and she and Jax end up caved in, Sonny dynamites his way in and they become separated from Sam, she returns to the cabin where Sonny finds her.   Jax & Sam #5  – 1/19/2004(partial) – 2/16/2004(partial) - 119 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Jax is grabbed but Sam rescues him, they make love in the shack, Jax is shot, Sonny removes the bullet, Sam sees Helena kill one of her minions, Sam returns to PC with Sonny and Jax, Sam runs into Helena at Windemere, Helena and Sam make a deal, Jax argues with Sam and breaks it off, Sam encounters Sonny on the docks and they go off to a hotel room together, Jason tries to pay Sam to leave town,  Jax tries to get a gun away from Zander after he pulls it on Nik and Em, Jax goes to reconcile with Sam but finds her with Sonny, Jax goes to the HS and makes a pass at Skye, Sam double crosses Luke and takes the treasure, Sam collapses in a hallway after fire breaks out in the hotel, Jax rescues her and takes her to his PH, Jax and Sam realize they may die and make love, Sonny stops by and Sam hides, Jax and Sam rappel to safety.   Jax & Sam #6  –2/16/2004(partial) – 3/19/2004 - 117 min. from my original DVD full episodes – Luke and Skye find Jax staying at her place after the fire, Sonny makes arrangements for Sam to stay in a hotel for the night, Jax assures Sam he won’t tell Sonny they made love, Sonny sends Sam to tell Carly he won’t be bringing her the kids, Jax questions Courtney about her move, Jax warns Sam about Sonny, Jax offers Courtney a job, Sam gets stuck in an elevator with Emily, Sam pays Carly a visit, Jax offers to testify on Carly’s behalf, Sam tells Jax he can’t, Michael follows Sam to her boat and sees Alcazar, Michael invites Sam to the PH, Alexis calls Sam to testify at the custody hearing, Sam decides to leave town, Sam shows up at the PH stabbed by the man who blew up Sonny’s limo, Sonny keeps Sam at the PH to recuperate, Sam leaves and the hitman comes after her on her boat.   END SERIES

The following list of edits cover Sam’s scenes from the end of Jax & Sam #6 until the beginning of the Jasam edits (since I haven’t gotten there yet, an estimated guess is they will continue until a pregnant Sam moves in with Jason and that’s about where I’m going to start the Jasam edits.)  These edits contain all Sam scenes.  I am not going to do a separate edit for Jasam or Samson during this time period.  All of Sam’s scenes with both are on these DVDs.  In addition to the Sam scenes there are a few additional Jason and/or Sonny scenes that provide continuity and a smoother flow to the story.   Sam #7  – 3/22/2004 – 4/12/2004(partial) - 119 minutes from my original DVD full episodes – Jason comes after the assassin on Sam’s boat, Jason takes Sam back to Sonny’s, Sam overhears Jason tell Sonny that he’s just using her to replace his loss, Sam tells Jason that she loves Sonny, Sonny takes Sam to the island, Morgan gets sick, Sam follows the assassin from GH, Luke keeps her from getting caught, Sonny is upset that she put herself in danger, Michael interrupts Sam & Sonny with a phone call, Sam talks to Jason about her feelings for Sonny, Sam spills wine on her dress, Courtney walks in and tells Sam off, Sam tells Jason to go after Courtney, Ric comes into the PH with a search warrant, Jason tells Sam that Sonny wants her to stay until he comes back, Faith gives Sam advice, Sonny asks Sam to move in, Ric tells Sam that Sonny’s ashamed of her, Sonny takes Sam to the Haunted Star, they return to the PH where Carly and the kids witness their embrace, Sam goes back to the Haunted Star.   Sam #8  – 4/12/2004(partial) -  in progress
